We had a good turn out at our Thursday night meeting at the Shania Twain Center, our special guest Kevin Psutka President and CEO of Copa was here for the first time in Timmins all the way from Ottawa. Kevin was speaking about aviation in Canada , he spoke about the Copa membership on how it has changed over the past years, as of now we stand at about 17,000 members. Kevin was also in town to receive a donation from the former Nighthawk Flying Club of Iroquois fall, the club made a donation to Kevin for 10,000 dollars for thr freedom to fly foundation. Marc De Laplante Jeff Semereck of the Flying club presented Kevin with the check, also they gave money to Soo college and Canadore college,they also gave money to the Timmins District Hospital, we like to thank the club for the donations they have made.
